Before the birth

One longer clean while you can still point at things

A single visit two to six weeks before the due date, so the house starts the first month in good order.

It is longer than a weekly visit and covers the rooms the baby's first weeks will happen in. You can show us where things live, which is harder after the birth.

What it covers

The rooms that matter most in the first month

  • The room the baby will sleep in

Dusting, vacuuming and a wipe of every surface. We leave anything unassembled or still in a box.

  • Kitchen

Counters, sink, stovetop and outside of appliances, and the floor.

  • Bathrooms

Toilet, sink, tub or shower, mirror and floor.

  • Entry and floors

The place everything lands first. Vacuumed, mopped and the mat shaken out.

Timing

Book it two to six weeks ahead

Earlier than that and the house is untidy again by the birth. Later and the last weeks are tiring enough without a visit to host.

Why before

  • You show us where things go and what to leave alone.

  • The first of the four weeks is already on the calendar.

  • If the baby comes early, text us and the plan starts from the day you are home.
