The four weeks

One clean a week for your first month home

For parents with a newborn and a house that is not getting any easier. Four weekly visits, the same person where we can.

The first visit is booked around your due date and moves with the baby. Each visit follows the same list, so you know what you will find.

How a visit goes

In order, from the text to the goodbye

  1. 01

Step 1: A text, fifteen minutes before

From Khadija, Elisa or Nhi. Reply 'not now' and we move the visit.

  2. 02

    Step 2: In, quietly

A soft knock or a text from the step. Shoes off from November to March.

  3. 03

Step 3: The list, in the same order

Kitchen, bathrooms, bedroom, living areas, floors last so nobody walks on a wet one.

  4. 04

Step 4: A note on the counter, or by text

What we did, what we left alone, and anything we could not do.

Before we arrive

Four things that make the visit easier

None of it has to be tidy. This is only what helps.

Before the first visit

  • Leave a key or a code, or open the door yourself. Alarms: tell us the code and whether the system chimes.

  • Put clean linen on the bed if you want the bed changed.

  • Tell us where to park. In a snow emergency we park where the city says, and we text you.

  • Tell us about pets, and which rooms to leave alone.

Three questions about the four weeks

How long is a visit?

About 2.5 hours on the four weeks, and about 3 hours on the laundry plan. Bigger homes take longer, and we say how long at the walkthrough text.

What if the baby is early or late?

Text us. The four visits start from the day you are home, not the day on the calendar.

Can I skip a week?

Yes. Text us 24 hours ahead and we move that visit to the end of the plan.

Hold the four weeks around your due date

Text us the date. We reply within one business day with the weeks that are open.
